Deviation Actions
I have an interesting method, going back to some old school Disney characters.
I've noticed that, when I evaluate Disney characters upon what I believe their Zodiac sign is, the sign that most closely matches the character is the same Zodiac as their actual voice actor.
For instance: Princess Jasmine is voiced by Linda Larkin. Linda Larkin is a Pisces.
Pisces Keywords--
Compassionate- She was the first one to accept what Aladdin did for Casim(Helping him escape from jail)
Adaptable- She was very changeable between being a princess or "street rat" even in the series.
Accepting- She accepted Aladdin for who he was, despite him hiding his true self and social standing.
Devoted- Jasmine was willing to go anywhere and do anything Aladdin wanted to do; including travel the world
Imaginative- Best seen during the Carpet ride in the first movie.
Oversensitive- She often got very tempermental or emotional over actions of others; her father, Aladdin, even Jafar.
Indecisive- How many suitors did she go through again??
Self-pitying- She often took things personally (Like when Aladdin would lie.)
Lazy- Most of the time when we're introduced to Jasmine, she's lounging or sitting somewhere (The fountain, her vanity...)
Escapist- When she wasn't allowed to choose her husband on HER terms, she ran away.
Going on the same list, now let's look at Aladdin. Scott Weinger is a Libra.
Libra Keywords--
Diplomatic- Aladdin leads with his charisma, whether he's dealing with Jasmine, Palace guards, the Genie
Graceful- He's a free-runner! His grace is seen in his way of fighting, running, jumping and climbing.
Peaceful- Aladdin doesn't go looking for trouble, and is often surprised by the amount of trouble he gets. "All this for a loaf of bread?"
Idealistic- He's a dreamer, with big ideas.
Hospitable- Aladdin is always willing to share what he has, even if it isn't a lot. Loaf of bread with the children orphans, his "house"
Superficial & Vain- He figured that Jasmine wouldn't accept him as he was. He gets very sensitive about being called riff-raff
Indecisive- Usually this only happens with Aladdin when it comes to facing a big decision (being made Sultan, or Royal Vizier)
Unreliable- He lies often, which makes him unreliable.
Next, I'll give a list of other Disney characters and the sign you could most likely associate with them.
Ariel- Libra (Jodi Benson)
Hercules- Virgo (Tate Donovan)
Tiana- Leo (Aniki Noni Rose)
Prince Naveen - Sagittarius (Bruno Campos)
Miss Bianca- Aquarius (Eva Gabor)
Cruela De Vil- (an interesting fact. Glenn Close is a Pisces, Betty Lou Gerson is a Aries. But Glenn Close is born on March 19th making her a cusp Aries which means she still has Ariean traits.)
That's all for now. I'll answer any questions I can.
Wow, I'm Pissed.
So, a lot has happened since I was super active on DA. Moved to Washington. Changed my relationship status. Attended my best friend's wedding. Started Transitioning... ...Which brings me to the topic of this post! I had intended for this to be a happy little trans coming out post, complete with a change of my pronouns on DA from he/him to she/her. HOWEVER: Deviantart apparently doesn't allow changing things like pronouns except for premium membership? Is this transploitation, Deviantart? Truly? I must pay for a simple thing that even Facebook lets me do for free? I'll be contacting support, and I urge any watchers to do the same. There's no reason why changing pronouns should only be available for Paid members, and it seems like a simple and harmless thing to change.
My DeviantART Story
6 Years ago, I began my journey to self discovery on DeviantART.
Why do I say that? Because I believe that art is the truest form of self discovery. It teaches us what we perceive of beauty, what drives our passion, and what we stand for. DeviantART is more than just an art community, it is a community of discovery and expression.
I began on deviantART merely posting color editted pictures and MS Paint colored linearts. In six years I have posted my own hand sketches, poems, literature, I have shared my thoughts on everything from video games to politics and my view on photography. I couldn't have gotten to where I am on this site without t
